I'm scared to park my car in the back parking lots - scared it will turn up missing or at the very least, broken into. The kids call this place the grove, so the gang here is some variation of grove, and supposedly they are part of the crips. It's just a seedy area - all the little neighborhood gangs are here and you can probably get drugs pretty easily. When I visit my family here, kids are running around at all hours of the night (um hello wtf are kids doing out at 2AM?). Roaches are a MAJOR problem -I remember my mom sprinkling borax around the kitchen ALL THE TIME so my brother and I didn't see roaches. While they remodeled it, it's still crappy 'Edgemear' as it was known when I lived there. I still have family that live here, and I would never recommend it, and I'm now in my mid-20s.

We stayed for about a year and then my parents got the hell out when they decided to buy a house further away from the area. I lived here many, many years ago (I was about 5 years old).
